Find the right leaflet in seconds, not minutes.

Patient Leaflets gives you a searchable library of trusted information from NHS, NICE, BNF, BHF, Macmillan, and other recognised UK health sources. Pinning saves a leaflet to your My Pins shelf and anonymously helps the GP community surface useful resources.

Good explanation benefits from good written material. A well-written leaflet from a trusted source can support clinician-led counselling, supervision, and patient education planning.

Patient Leaflets
NHS
Atrial Fibrillation (AF)
Overview of symptoms, causes, and treatments for atrial fibrillation.
BHF
Living with Atrial Fibrillation
British Heart Foundation guide to managing AF and reducing stroke risk.
STEP 01

Search or browse.

Open the leaflet workspace and search by keyword or browse by condition tag. Community shows trusted leaflets surfaced by GP community pins.

STEP 02

Review the leaflet.

Each result shows the title, source organisation, and a summary. Click through to the full resource on the source website.

STEP 03

Pin for later.

Hit the pin icon on any leaflet to save it to My Pins. The same pin also acts as an anonymous usefulness signal for the GP community library.

STEP 04

Use alongside explanation.

Use the leaflet link as a source to review, save, print, or include in clinician-reviewed communication where appropriate.

Value Propositions

Why use Patient Leaflets?

Trusted sources only. Every leaflet comes from a recognised UK health organisation. No user-generated content, no unverified material.
Pin your go-to leaflets. Save useful resources to "My Pins" and help other GPs surface trusted leaflets through anonymous community pin signals.
Filter by condition. Use condition tags to narrow the library to what is relevant right now — diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and more.
Search from inside a conversation. The assistant can search the library for you and surface results inline directly from chat.
Scope

How it supports source-based explanation

Where it works well Use it

  • Clinician-reviewed resources

Find a leaflet from a trusted source to support your own explanation or later communication.

  • Frequently used resources

Pin leaflets you review regularly. Find them instantly and contribute anonymous usefulness signals to the GP community library.

  • Teaching and supervision

Show a trainee which leaflets are available for common presentations and how to find them quickly.

Practical Limits

  • !
    External links

Leaflets link to external source websites — content is not hosted directly inside ClinicQuest.

  • !
    Curated library

The library is curated from trusted UK sources; not every possible leaflet is included.

  • !
    No patient portal

There is no built-in patient-facing sharing portal — you share the link or print the resource yourself.

Key message

Leaflets supplement, but never replace, clinical explanation or advice. This library is a faster way to access trusted public patient-information resources, not a substitute for clinical consultation.
