Portfolio admin that feels tractable, not endless.
The Portfolio Workspace gives GP trainees a purpose-built space to draft, organise, and manage portfolio entries. Eight entry types, RCGP curriculum mapping, training sessions, and optional FourteenFish sending — all in one place so training evidence stays structured and findable.
The portfolio is not the hard part. Keeping it organised is. The workspace handles the organisation so you can focus on the reflection.
Create an entry.
Choose one of eight structured entry types, give it a title, and start writing. Layouts match the purpose of the evidence.
Map to the curriculum.
For clinical case reviews, link to clinical experience groups and RCGP capabilities. Add justifications for each capability so your evidence is defensible.
Assign to a session.
Place the entry in the right training session so it appears in the correct time period on your dashboard.
Mark ready and copy.
Move the entry from Draft to Ready, copy it into your official portfolio, or send it to FourteenFish if your account is linked.
Why use the Portfolio Workspace?
How to fit it into your week
Where it works well Use it
- ✓ Weekly reflection routine
Draft entries at the end of the week for cases that taught you something, while it is fresh.
- ✓ Pre-ARCP preparation
Check the dashboard for clinical groups and capabilities that lack evidence, and target those gaps.
- ✓ Session-based organisation
Group entries by rotation or academic year so your evidence tells a clear story of progression.
Practical Limits
- ! Not an ePortfolio replacement
It does not replace FourteenFish or the RCGP ePortfolio. It is a tool for drafting and organising.
- ! Capacity limits
Maximum 100 entries total. Up to 20 entries per session.
- ! Personal to you
No team sharing — portfolio entries are personal to your account.
The workspace organises; you write and reflect. Entries are never automatically generated without your input, and curriculum mapping is your own professional judgement.
What it costs.
Managing entries, dashboards, and FourteenFish sync is included.
Coaching chat uses standard assistant credits (see Portfolio Mode).
Make sense of your evidence.
Keep your reflections structured, mapped, and ready for ARCP.
